The Brief

Create a brand and website experience that reflects their eclectic style and joyful approach to design as well as entices onlookers to explore their physical storefront.

At an early age, founder Elizabeth Hill learned from her grandmother – a woman who notoriously keeps her dining room table exquisitely set a permanent fixture – that true elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside.

Honoring her cherished muse, Elizabeth combined her maiden name with her grandmother’s to create Hart & Hill: a symbol that the most extraordinary spaces and people are that which exude a positive force and embrace their unique nature.

By creatively nestling the H&H initials, we created a visual metaphor of stacked dining chairs – a subtle nod to Elizabeth’s grounding inspiration.

Hart & Hill’s mission is to support designers and novelty decorators alike to craft delighted and personal living spaces. When it comes to design, they take a vibrant approach – highlighting especial use of color, form, texture, and pattern – making their style the antithesis of ordinary.

To communicate their distinct aesthetic, we incorporated a lively color story, playful embellishments, refined type system, and whimsical hand-illustrated pattern work.

With new inventory regularly, Hart & Hill’s collection is hand-chosen to create the ultimate treasure chest of living, as a home should be. Their beautiful storefront is home to an extensive library of fabric and wallpaper samples available for checkout, works from local artists, a mixture of ready-made and made-to-order interior pieces, and more.

Because Hart & Hill prioritizes a local, personal experience, all products are sold solely at the brick and mortar shop, making their digital home a beautiful hub for introductions and information.
